The Greater Lansing Housing Coalition provides housing assistance for all, revitalizing neighborhoods and empowers residents though education and counseling. Visit www.glhc.org. "Rent" a tool(s) to clean up around your home is offered to Lansing residents for a $5 refundable deposit. Attached are the necessary forms that need to be filled out. Application, Loan Agreement, Tool rules, and waiver/release.

Rebuilding Together Ingham County. This organization previously know as Christmas in April identifies eligible homes for low income seniors or low income disabled persons for one day home repair that takes place on the last Saturday in April. The Michigan Homeowner Assistance Nonprofit Housing Corporation (MHA) acting through Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) has received federal funds from the U.S. Department of Treasury to help Michigan take a step forward through a comprehensive, statewide strategy that is aimed to help homeowners who are at high risk of default or foreclosure. 

Through A Step Forward: MHA designed programs to help homeowners who have had a financial hardship. This website is the fastest way for homeowners to submit an application for assistance.
